Community Thanksgiving Service returns Nov. 19th

Before the COVID pandemic, area churches had enjoyed the tradition of gathering for worship the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving for a Community Thanksgiving Service, giving local residents an opportunity to worship with their friends and neighbors as a part of the Thanksgiving season. Local musicians and church leaders will once again participate in an after noon of praise and thanksgiving at Middlesboro’s First Christian Church on Sunday, November 19th, at 3:00 p.m. The worship service will feature pianist Todd Spangler, and will include participants from Bethany Christian Church, Binghamtown Baptist Church, Covenant Methodist Church, First Baptist Church-Barbourville, First Christian Church-Middlesboro, First Christian Church-Pineville, Hensley’s Chapel Baptist Church, Meldrum Baptist Church, Middlesboro Church of God Mountain Assembly, Shiloh Church and White Memorial AME Zion Church. Everyone is invited and welcome to attend.
