Darlene Layne Jordan, 68

Darlene Layne Jordan, age 68, of Tazewell, TN, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the Claiborne Medical Center in Tazewell, TN. She was born May 3, 1956, the daughter of the late Damon Layne and Kathlene Johnson Layne.

Darlene’s unwavering faith in holiness guided her path. Her heart overflowed with love for her family, finding true joy in the presence of her precious grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Darlene is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lee Jordan; brothers, Euguene Layne, and James Clarence Layne; and her sisters, Ellen Hatfield, Jaquia Jackson, and Carol Webb.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Anthony Layne of Fort Wayne, IN, and Ronald Lee Jordan, Jr. (Tonya Carpenter) of Tazewell, TN; brothers, Lynn Layne, Damon Layne, Jr., Bill Layne, and Terry Lane; sisters, Pamela Sue Layne of IN, and Jean Beuke of Cincinnati, OH; and her grandchildren, Jocelyn Brynn Layne of Fort Wayne, IN, Anthony Layne, Jr. of Fort Wayne, IN, Camron Mayes, Destiny Diane Jordan, Abigail Darlene Jordan, and Ronald Lee Jordan III.

The family of Darlene Layne Jordan will receive friends on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Bobby Grubbs presiding.

Graveside services for Darlene Layne Jordan will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 22, 2024, in the mausoleum at Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, KY. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
