Ronald “Ronnie” Hawk, 63

Ronald "Ronnie" Hawk, age 63, of Speedwell, TN, passed away at his home on October 14, 2024. He was born on April 15, 1961, to the late Fred Earl Hawk and Juanita McDaniel Hawk.
Anyone who knew Ronnie knew his love for the outdoors. Fishing, hunting, camping, root digging; you name it, and he did it. Some of his most cherished memories, shared with family and friends, took place either on a lake or in the woods. He was well-known for the many years he spent working at the starter shop in Tennessee as well as time spent working on area farms. He was a 1979 graduate of Middlesboro High School.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Calvin and Pairlee Hawk and John and Nora McDaniel; sister, Barbara Ann Partin; two brothers, Vincent Hawk and David Earl Hawk; sister-in-law, Liz Hawk and special grandson, Brantley Upton.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patricia Upton Hawk; son, Christopher Hawk; and daughter, Brittany Hawk; stepchildren, Jeffrey (Melissa) Martin, and Maggie Upton; and another special grandson, Bryson Upton; grandchildren, Dennis Hawk, Keisha Hawk, Ava Hawk, Aaliyah Flanary, Marley Flanary, Kyson Daniels, Madison Madeline Martin, Brooklyn Poppe, and Gracie Upton; siblings, Pat (Gene) Owens, Sue (John) England, Janis (Gerald) Cook, Arleen (Larry) Wilson, Linda (Benny) Barnett, Allen Hawk, and Diane Hawk; brother-in-law, James (Sue) Partin; and cousin, Steve Lynch, who he considered a brother, as well as a host of other family and friends.
The family of Ronnie Hawk will receive friends on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Padgett presiding.
At the conclusion of the funeral service, family and friends will follow in procession to Red Hill Cemetery, Speedwell, TN, where graveside services will be held.
