Jamie Kent Goodin, age 69, of Lafollette, TN went to be with the Lord on Monday June 15, 2026. Jamie was born July 3, 1956 to the late Thomas “Andrew” and Rose Marie (Dockery) Goodin. He was raised in the First Christian Church of Pineville. Jamie graduated from Pineville High School where he was a member of the Pineville Mountain Lions Football Team. While growing up, he and his friends loved playing football so much, that they even played in the snow.
Jamie was a skilled electrician and a member of the IBEW. He worked on many of the major Bell County projects including the new Bell County High School and the Southeast Community College campuses in Middlesboro and Cumberland.
Jamie was proceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Jacqueline Marie Goodin. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Judy Gokey. Sons Andrew (Caitlin) Goodin and Dominic Thacker (Rebecca). Grandchildren Vance, Eli, Oliver and Stelten. Siblings Rhonda Shank (Bill Code) and Joel (Sharon) Goodin. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jamie was a kind and gentle soul who will be greatly missed.
Cremation services provided by Cross-Smith Funeral Home in Lafollette, TN. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
